This inspirational podcast was launched on International Womens Day on the 8th March 2017 at the WOW Women of the World festival in London, and one year later on the first anniversary Nicki interviewed Jude Kelly (OBE) the founder of WOWFest.

Back then Nicki was producing and hosting the BBC Sound Women Podcast for women in broadcasting and met Heart FM award-winning Juliette Nicholls at the Hospital Club in London (when Juliette was formerly part of the IWP production team) and the exciting podcast was founded.

Next Heart FM Global Producer Saffron Mirza was our Audio producer on the series before the new assistant producer Dulcie Godfrey stepped into her shoes.  The team is constantly growing with welcome to our new video production team.

A Big Thank You To My Incredible Guests

To all of you – you have inspired me greatly and I have loved talking to each of you in your homes, work and privileged to meet you in person or remotely. From Radio broadcaster Kirsty Young at the desert island Discs BBC studio to Judy Murray (OBE) where we met at Wimbledon Tennis lounge to Michelle Collins back stage in her London fringe theatre and to all my many remote interviews including Louise Minchin when we were both on crutches and couldn’t stop laughing from our homes in lockdown  – I thank you – you have made such a difference to me and so many other women – I adore you all – and thank you from the bottom of my heart – Nicki x
